The Centre for Crisis & Risk Communications (CCRC), is based in Calgary, Alberta with offices in Vancouver, Toronto, New York, and Manchester. The CCRC is a leader in crisis and risk communications. The CCRC is driven by the science and research of our senior advisor, Dr. Vincent Covello on how the brain responds to high stress crisis, high concern, and change environments.
His research-proven methods, formulas, and tools were used by Mayor Rudolph Giuliani in his communication response during the 911 terror attacks in New York and by the World Health Organization’s (WHO) in their response to the outbreak of Ebola in Africa.
Utilizing these tools and formulas, the CCRC prepares organizations for their next crisis by: conducting vulnerability audits, writing and executing crisis communication plans, providing training (crisis and media) and strategic communication counsel.
